This document provides release information for the CodePalette for PSoC product.

System Requirements:

Pentium II 266 mhz or higher and at least 128 MB of RAM and 50 MB Free Hard Disk space
Windows XP (Home or Professional) / 2000 / NT
Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or later
PSoC Designer Version 3.21 or later (4.0 or later is required for 8C27XXX development).
ImageCraft "C" compiler Version 1.17 or later

Download Instructions:

Obtain a software key from Codetelligence, Inc. This key will be delivered via email, along with the product download site link, when the product is purchased on-line. Keep this software key to unlock the product for installation and include the key in all support emails. The download (self-extracting executable) is approximately 20 MB in size. Save the file (CodePaletteForPSoCv1_2.exe) to your local hard drive.

To Install:

Close all applications before installing. The install program is a self-extracting executable that will automatically unpack the install, execute setup and then clean up any temporary files. To run the install, double click on the CodePaletteForPSoCv1_2.exe file.

The first time you run the CodePalette Wizard you must agree to the licensing terms before continuing with the rest of the installation. When requested, enter your software key to unlock the product.

Version 1.2::

• Added work around for compiler macro expansion issue when using 16-bit timers in generated code.
• Allow selection of periodic tasks time slot to select actual requested slot in generated code..
• Remove dependences on Microsoft .NET. It is no longer required that you have .NET installed on your machine.

Version 1.1::

• Wizard support for PSoC CY8C27xxx devices.
• I2C Master and Slave device driver support.
• Enhanced SPI Master and SPI Slave driver.

Version 1.0:

Initial Release:

• Wizard support for PSoC CY8C2xxxx.
• Task Management for Periodic, Event-Based, Continuous Scheduling.
