This document provides release information for CodePalette for Windows CE Plus and Evaluation versions.

System Requirements:

Pentium II 266 mhz or higher and at least 256 MB of RAM and 50 MB Free Hard Disk space.
Windows NT/2000/XP (Home or Professional) Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or later.
Platform Builder 5.0
Platform Builder 4.2

Download Instructions:

Obtain a software key from Codetelligence, Inc. This key will be delivered via email, along with the product download site link, when the product is obtained on-line. Keep this software key to unlock the product for installation and include the key in all support emails. The download (self-extracting executable) is approximately 24 MB in size. Save the file to your local hard drive.

To Install:

Close all applications before installing. The install program is a self-extracting executable that will automatically unpack the install, execute setup and then clean up any temporary files. To run the install, double click on the CodePaletteForCEv1_1_(Plus or Eval).exe file. The first time you run the CodePalette Wizard you must agree to the licensing terms before continuing with the rest of the installation. When requested, enter your software key to unlock the product.

• Universal Serial Bus (USB) Support (Plus Version Only).
• Streams Driver integration with USB Client Driver (Plus Version Only).
• USB Client driver asynchronous/synchronous transfer APIs (Plus Version Only)
• Enhanced test application to support USB device notifications (insertion/removal) (Plus Version Only)
• Updated documentation and minor code enhancements

Version 1.0:

• Local and PCI Bus Support.
• Basic driver framework.
• Test application generation.
• Windows CE 4.2 and 5.0 Support.
